Feeding Seniors Since 1992
For over three decades, the East Benewah Council on Aging has been a cornerstone of the St. Maries community. What began as a simple vision to ensure no senior goes hungry has grown into a beloved gathering place where neighbors become family.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon, the aroma of a home-cooked meal fills our dining room on the ground floor of the University Extension office, just behind Benewah Community Hospital. Seniors from across East Benewah County come together not only for a nourishing meal, but for the warmth of companionship and community.
Our dedicated volunteers and staff prepare each meal with care, serving hot entrees, hearty soups, fresh desserts, and beverages. We believe that sharing a meal is one of the most powerful ways to show love and respect for the generations who built our community.
